This site does not offer legal services, does not accept requests for representation, and does not collect information about anyone’s case. Reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone.
Immigration and administrative law change often, sometimes through a single court order or policy memorandum. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed and lists the primary sources it relies on. The law on the day you read a page may differ from the law on the day it was reviewed, so check the cited sources before relying on anything here.
Pages link to government sources, court decisions and other websites for further reading. Those sites are not controlled by this one, and a link is not an endorsement of their content.
There are no forms, accounts, cookies, advertising or analytics scripts on this site. Fonts, stylesheets and scripts are served from this server, so reading a page does not send requests to third parties.
Like any web server, the server that hosts this site records standard technical data about each request: the IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser type. The logs are used to keep the site running and secure and to count visits in aggregate. The visit counts do not store IP addresses. The logs themselves are kept for about two weeks and then deleted.
You may read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Quoting a short passage with a link to the page it comes from is welcome. Republishing whole pages, or presenting the content as your own, is not permitted.
